He bought a Mercedes van, rebuilt it into a camper and has ridden every winter for the past 11 years with his van and his road bike to the warmer south. He recorded his story, which has resulted in a wonderful film. And even though it’s an US American story, we would (deep in our cycling hearts) only too gladly swap places with him for just one winter…
