Summer is almost over, but the real enthusiast enjoys camping all year round. So, if you like the outdoors, and happen to enjoy long distance bike rides too, then you should definitely check out the new line of tents created by manufacturer Big Agnes. This American company offers four different models that are easy to bring along on your bike.

Bicycle friendly

The four tents are named Fly Creek HV UL1, Fly Creek HV UL2, Copper Spur HV UL1 and Copper Spur HV UL2. They are all made of light materials—the tents themselves weigh, at most, 1.56 kilos—and they come with with tent poles that fold up into bundles just 30 centimetres long. When the Copper Spur HV UL2 is all packed up it fits into a small 15x30cm bag—perfect for travelling long distances.

This compact size of the tent bag makes it easy to hang on your handlebars, and you can go almost anywhere with it, assuming your bike can handle the terrain. If you are a real nature lover and want to take your bike and camp out in the sticks, then this tent is the perfect model to bring along.

There’s another cool feature present in all of the above tent models: Big Agnes have created a space to hang your helmet inside so you never have to worry about getting it wet! Now all you need before you get going is a great backpack or frame bag to bring supplies along.

Interested? The tents will be available in April of next year, and vary in price between $360 and $470.
